Portfolio managers
The assets of the Investor LBO FIZ fund are managed by the DI Investors Investment Committee, where investment decisions are made jointly. The Committee members are: Jakub Bartkiewicz, Michał Meller, Maciej Wiśniewski, Grzegorz Mielcarek, Andrzej Kaczorowski and Emil Łobodziński.
Jakub Bartkiewicz
President of the DI Investors Management Board. A graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), he has participated in many specialist courses and training sessions and lectured at a Warsaw School of Economics post-graduate program on company valuation. From 2000 he was Managing Director and owner of FAS Polska, an advisory company dealing with corporate finance and the management of nonpublic assets. In 2001-2003 he was vice president for financial affairs at Genesis Sp. z o.o., responsible for the capital restructuring of a group of telecommunications companies. In 1999-2001 he was Investment Director at Kouri Capital Poland Ltd., where his responsibilities included capital transactions and financial advisory services. In 1999 he spent 4 months working for Bank Handlowy in Warsaw as Director for Transactions, involved in work of the corporate finance department. In 1997-1999 he served as Consultant, then Senior Consultant at the Corporate Finance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1996-1997 he worked as an analyst for Fitch Polska (then known as the Central European Center for Rating and Analysis), and in 1995-1996 he served as a specialist at the Polish Bank Association.
Michał Meller
Member of the DI Investors Management Board. A graduate of the University of Minnesota (US), he participated there in many courses on finance, accounting, and statistics. From 2004 he was Managing Director and owner of FAS Polska, an advisory company dealing with corporate finance and the management of nonpublic assets. As an independent consultant in 2001-2004, he assisted with the operational and financial restructuring of a meat processing company and jointly organized capital for a financial intermediary. Simultaneously, from 2003 he also served as Vice President for Development at Max Retail Koncept Sp z o.o., responsible for the company's developmental strategy for its expanding discount retail chain. In 1996-2001 he worked at Bank of America Equity Partners, where he handled private equity investments in Europe. In 1994-1996 he collaborated with the CASE Foundation and the Economic Education Foundation in Warsaw on studying company bankruptcies during the economic transformation, as well as foreign investments and privatization.
Maciej Wiśniewski
President of the Investors TFI Management Board and Member of the DI Investors Management Board. A graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Warsaw School of Economics. Holder of Securities Broker license no. 1230. From February 2003 until September 2004 - a dealer, then Dealer Department Manager at BZ WBK AIB Asset Management S.A. In 2002 responsible for customer acquisition at DM BOŚ S.A. Between 1999 and 2001 he held the post of share broker, personally responsible for managing the bank's share portfolio and for drafting market analyses and recommendations regarding the bank's investment activities. Before that, between 1998 and 1999, he was a trader at DM BIG BG S.A, a participant in due diligence proceedings, and between 1995 and 1996 a stock exchange broker at Raiffeisen Capital Investment Polska S.A.
Grzegorz Mielcarek
Member of the Investors TFI Management Board and Member of the DI Investors Management Board. Holder of a Ph.D. in Economics. Graduate of the National Economy Department at Wrocław University of Economics. Holder of Securities Broker license no. 1707 and Investment Advisor license no. 188. In 2003-2004 he was employed at BZ WBK AIB Asset Management, first as Investment Advisor then as Portfolio Manager, and also employed at BZ WBK AIB TFI S.A., first as Investment Advisor and then also as Regional Sales Director. Between 2001 and 2002, he was Investment Advisor at TDA TFI S.A. managing a private equity investment fund EEFIV FIZ.
Andrzej Kaczorowski
Member of the Investors TFI Management Board. A graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Warsaw School of Economics. Holder of Investment Advisor license no. 261. In 2001-2005 he was an independent trader on the Polish and foreign futures and shares markets. Between 1999 and 2001, he was employed at the Pension Funds Supervisory Office as an expert for the Workers' Retirement Programs Department. In 1997-1999 he was employed at the Public Debt Department of the Ministry of Finance, where he dealt with the secondary market of treasury debentures. Between 1996 and 1997 he served as an expert on the bonds market at Raiffeisen Capital & Investment Polska S.A.
Emil Łobodziński
Investment Advisor of DI Investors. A graduate of Wrocław University of Economics, currently engaged in PhD studies. A licensed investment advisor and a pending Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. From 2006 also employed at Investors TFI.
